I have had the pleasure over the past few months of guest blogging for Greensboro Fashion Week.

Today was the first night of fashion week. The red carpet was rolled out and the Jaguars and Range Rovers parked out front. The HARDEST part of fashion week for me was choosing what to wear, but it is also great fun!

I had my outfit picked out and my jacket was at the tailor for alterations when I found out that it would not make it in time. Today (the day of the show) I pulled an audible and grabbed my glen plaid suit. A simple medallion scarf added some depth to the outfit without being overpowering. What to wear on my feet though! Yesterday I received a notification that I had missed a package so I ran over to the post office only to find an INCREDIBLE pair of wholecuts waiting for me and what better timing. The shoes are from Brogue Makers and will get some separate love later!

The event tonight was a private invite only show of some of the finest coats I have ever seen. The runway was gorgeous, the models eloquent, and the clothing outstanding. This is actually my first time attending a fashion show as a blogger and it was a great pleasure to be a part of the event. I look forward to the next few nights at fashion week!
