I think it is fairly common to desire a great smile with glistening white teeth, but for many of us we have written it off as expensive, time consuming or worse painful. How was my experience?
I will tell you first hand that my life runs at 100 mph and finding the time to do extra-curricular activities like whitening seemed farfetched, but I made it happen! I mixed my putty’s, made my mold following the well written guide included in the kit and had them in the mail that day. The kit recommends moving from 45 mins up as your teeth tolerate depending on sensitivity. I do not have extremely sensitive teeth but having something in my mouth for that long took a little getting used to.
I would pop the trays in while finishing photo edits at night or winding down with a movie. As the treatment progressed I moved from 45 mins, to an hour, hour and a half and even 2 hours. Now if I am being honest I was not consistent in my treatment but I was in my abstinence from staining subjects. There were nights I would get home at 2 am or so and would completely forget. The one thing I did not do in order to be true to the treatment is drink coffee or tea. Now I am half British/half Cuban so abstaining from either of these was like telling me not to drink water, but through will power and alternate forms of caffeine I made it 3 weeks or so without them!
I treated around 10 times and still have plenty of whitening solution which I can continue with through the year! The gels will last in the refrigerator for a longer time and now that I have my teeth whitening trays I can continue the process even when I run out just by ordering more gel.
I’m not going to be an example of someone who had the most dramatic results, but what I can say is throughout my busy life and my inconsistent schedule the product proved time and time again that it would perform as advertised.
