Shopping Extravaganza with Tanger Outlets

I had the great pleasure of attending the kick-off event for the TangerSTYLE event in Mebane, NC. This style event for Tanger runs from March 17th to the 16th of April featuring special savings and a weekly chance to win a $250 gift card!

For the kick-off there was hors d’oeuvres, champagne and great conversation. After chatting with the GM of the shopping center and getting an idea of the cadence for the evening I headed out with my special guest into the shopping center loaded with coupons, gift cards and the desire to shop!

Outlets are a GREAT way to pick up pieces for a specific look without breaking the bank.

You may not find the exact piece on your wishlist but you could find a comparable piece for half the price! More then that; maybe you will find a steal on a piece that your wardrobe has been missing.

I stopped in many of the stores participating in the TangerSTYLE event to see what special deals they were offering. Not only were we equipped with coupons for the center, but each store had other fun ways in which they were participating from snacks to even MORE savings.

It was a little chilly at the shopping center so I decided to go with layers. I also ran into two blogger friends of mine DJ from www.tailormade-style.com and Sunny from www.welldressedstudent.com. It is always good to catch up and collaborate with these guys!

Half of my pieces were trendy picks aimed for the current wave and that I will work into my street style fits. The other half were classic pieces that are not only going to be anchors in the closet, but functional in many diverse settings. You can ALWAYS use a great white tee shirt and a Navy Blazer. I can’t tell you how many times my outfits on Instagram have featured a Navy Blazer.

After a night full of shopping we took photos with the Tanger team at Saks Off Fifth and then were sent off with a goodie-bag to head into the evening.

A huge thanks to everyone at the Tanger Outlets team for an awesome event, I will definitely be back in during the TangerSTYLE season to pick up some more pieces for Spring!
